Flowering Collard Greens - Knowledgebase Question

I've harvested most of the leaves on my collard greens. They have continued to grow, produced narrow leaves, produced yellow flowers and what resembles skinny string beans. Is it time to pull up the plant or will these

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

Those collard plants are about done now that warmer weather is arriving. The "bean things" are the seed pods that form where the blooms were.
