I was given a plant and told it is a Snake Plant, but that is not accurate. It has the appearance of an ornamental orchid, but I cannot find any pictures, or any reference to anything like it on your site in the plant lists, or any others that I have researched. I would like to submit a picture of one of the offshoots to you to see if you can identify it for me if possible?

Aurelia,

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

Unfortunately our Q&A system is not set up to receive photos. Snake plant is Sanseveria and you may want to do an online image search to see if this is your plant, just to be sure. If it is the blooms that look like an orchid it is definely not Sanseveria.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
