| Adrianne, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! I don't think that part about changing colors is right. I have grown several of the wave petunias and they do fine producing blooms well into summer if you keep the soil moist and fertilize the plants with a soluble plant food such as Miracle Gro at the label rate.
