I have a jacaranda tree that's at least 15 years old or older. It's at least 20FT tall and it has never bloomed. Can you tell me what to do to get it to bloom or should I just cut it down? |
Margaret, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! If the tree is from a seed it can take time to reach maturity and reproductive age. I suggest you contact your County Extension Office and see if they have information on what you might be able to do for the tree. Their contact info is: 36702 State Road 52, Dade City, FL 33525-5198 352-521-4288; 727-847-8177; 813-996-7341, Ext 4288 Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
