| Craig, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! You can use an insecticide but Durban is not legal to apply any longer. The lawn can be fed now using a 3-1-2 or 4-1-2 ratio product at a rate of 1 pound of nitrogen per 1000 square feet. Divide the first number on the bag into 100 to get the pounds of fertilizer per 1000 square feet. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
