The Q&A Archives: Daylillies

Question: Is it too late in the spring to divide my existing daylillies? The spring was really cold and the only weekend that was nice enough to divide the existing plant was last weekend which I was not able to do such.

Answer: You can divide your daylilies now. They may bloom a few weeks later than normal, but they'll be happier to have more elbow space.

Best wishes with your garden!
