| I'm looking for the darkest (black/brown), bark mulch and shredded mulch I can find. I need both items and need a large quantity please advise. |
| The darkest mulches are actually dyed to that distinctive dark color so it will stay dark after application. (Natural mulches may start out brown but typically soon weather to a silvery gray or in the case of pine bark, a reddish tone.) Your best bet for quantity would be to purchase loose mulch in bulk by the cubic yard. Contact your landscaper or check your local yellow pages for a landscape supply yard or similar sources. Or, your local Home Depot store might be able to refer you. Good luck with your search! |
