| As you've discovered, it's hard to get anything to grow under a pepper tree. The dense shade and dry soil will drive most plants to distinction. However, I've found that Vinca minor (periwinkle), Hypericum (St. John's Wort), or Rose of Sharon will usually grow beneath pepper trees. |
