How do you trim queen palm trees?

Palms require very little pruning. For queen palms, just remove dead, brown lower fronds. Some folks prune more away than this leaving only fronds pointing upward to some degree. This reduces the plant's leaf area excessively impacting its ability to photosynthesize and is not a good practice. Depending on the age and size of your palm, you may need a sharp pruning saw.
