Best fertilize for young trees in Nevada??

Unless indicated, routine feeding of young trees usually isn't necessary. If a tree shows yellowing, extremely slow growth, or some other sign which might indicate a nutrient deficiency, then fertilizer can be applied at any time during the growing season. If you choose to fertilize your trees, use a general purpose 8-8-8 at the amounts indicated on the fertilizer label.
