My Okame Cherry Tree did not bloom this Spring and the leaves are out now. We had a lot of rain over the past few weeks. Is this the reason the tree did not bloom? I understand that some plants (not sure of trees) bloom on drought conditions. Also, is the Campanula plant the same situation?

I suspect your cherry tree may have suffered damage to its flower buds during the oscillating temperatures we had this spring. A warm spell followed by a cold snap can easily ruin them. Campanula would typically bloom a bit later in the season, so I would still be patient with that one.
