The Q&A Archives: planting

Question: I have a large bag of potting soil from last season. Can I use this soil to start seeds and mix with ground soil to start bulbs?

Answer: You can use the potting soil straight out of the bag, or mix it with garden soil in your bulb bed. Potting soil may dry out a bit, but it won't degrade in a single year. Best wishes with your garden!
