Is there a winter hardy Gardenia that will survive in my zone. Also last season I purchased a Red Oliander that was suppose to be winter hardy. It is not looking to well. Is there anything I to help it along.

Unfortunately, the hardiest gardenias are only considered hardy into zone 7 so they would not be expected to overwinter outdoors for you. Most oleanders are only winter hardy to zone 8, a few possibly into the wamer half of zone 7. Since you are gardening in zone 6A, the coldest part of zone 6 -- and depending on your microclimate possibly as cold as zone 5 -- these just would not be expected to survive your winters outside either.
