what can I do to kill the weeds in my grass without killing the grass? I used a spray weed killer before and i killed not only the weeds but burned the grass also last year. Please help me so my husband doesnt want to kill me this year. Thanks.

Always read the label of the spray you are using. Check to see if it is supposed to control the specific weed you have a problem with, and if it is safe to use on a lawn. Also check the application directions. Some may cause damage to lawn if applied at a high temperature or may not be effective if applied at the wrong season, or damage may occur if overapplied. Mix it according to the label directions or spread it at the rate listed, do not exceed what is listed on the label. Many herbicides contain glyphosate. This is a nonselective herbicide that will kill desirable plants as well as weeds. The label will tell you all of this. If you are not sure what weeds you have or what product to use, I would suggest you consult with your local county extension.
