Hi,

I've got a birdbath that is hollow and filled with dirt. There are six openings to plant flowers in the pedestal. I think they would get either part sun/part shade or mostly shade. Do you have any suggestions for flowers that would work in that confined space?
Thank you in advance,
Amy

Annuals will be your best bet for such confined root spaces. You can change them with the season. Right now, you can plant blue browallia, impatiens, lobelia, alyssum, glacier variegated ivy, kenilworth ivy, and lotus vine. I'm sure your local garden center has other trailing annuals for you to consider. Enjoy!
