Can u eat bruce plums as a fruit or only thru canning them? I brought this fruit tree but not able to find any helpful information about bruce plums on the web.

'Bruce' is a small plum introduced from Donelly County, Texas that is a cross between the Japanese and Chickasaw Plums. It is an early, yellow-fleshed variety that tends to bear heavily if not thinned. The plums can be eaten fresh or canned. Enjoy!
