| We have three banks currently covered with juniper. They are dying and are about 6 years old. The county extentsion office said it was probably my soil. We have been taking the dead ones up and it looks like a drainage problem. We have a 12 foot slope that has been terraced with three banks. |
| If the soil is too moist for junipers, you might try growing Lily-of-the-Valley, Pachysandra, dwarf pussywillow, vinca minor, carpet rose or Yellowroot (Xanthorhiza simplicissima). Or, you might try to improve drainage by installing drainage at the base of each terraced area. Best wishes with your landscape! |
