Hello. I am about to plant strawberry seedlings, but they came with extremely long roots. Is it alright for me to cut the roots a little bit?

Thank you for your help.

The strawberries need all of their roots. It is better to dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots, then make a small mound of soil in the center. Drape the roots over the mound so the crown is at the correct depth. Then firm soil over the roots. Good luck with your strawberries!
