The Q&A Archives: planting time

Question: I planted flowers on 4/29/07 is that ok?

Answer: It really depends on the flower types you planted. If you purchased them from a local garden center, I expect that they're ready to go in the ground in your local area. If a late frost threatens, you could cover them overnight to protect them from cold weather. If the soil is too cold, the plants will just sit there and wait patiently for it to warm up.

Hope your new plants are okay!
