Whiteflies can be difficult to control, however commercially formulated insecticidal soap should do the job. Be sure to read and follow the label directions for applying and follow up applications. When you spray, be sure to contact all parts of the plant from top to bottom, top and undersides of the leaves, along the stems, everywhere. Also, inspect your plants before you bring them home to be sure you are not importing whiteflies--they are a notorious greenhouse pest.

Deer can be so destructive. The most reliable long term solution is a tall fence. However, some gardeners report success with the spray on repellents, applied and reapplied per the label. Sometimes it seems to help to rotate between different products rather than use the same one all the time.
