I just answered a similar question, but thought you were asking about garden flowers. If you are thinking of houseplants, you could root tip cuttings of coleus, geranium, jade plant, English ivy, or prayer plant fairly quickly. You can pot up the little baby offsets of spider plants and see growing results fairly fast, too. African violet leaves can be rooted, as can fancy leafed begonias, by using a single leaf. The plant would not reach blooming stage in a month, but it should be a viable plant by then.
