There are several vines that can fit your description:
Coral Vine (Antigonon leptopus) is a very vigorous vine growing to 30 feet and blooms in summer with vivid pink flowers.

Mandevilla (Mandevilla splendens) grows 10 to 15 feet with pink funnel-shaped flowers and leathery dark green leaves.

Passion flowers or Passion Vines derive their common name from the religious symbolism attached to their regular, but intricate flowers, which usually have five sepals and five petals united around a fringe-like crown and prominent column of stamens and styles, and are often large (to 5") and colorful. Some varieties are grown mostly for their unusually shaped decorative leaves. Still others are grown for their delicious, edible fruit, best know as "Granadilla", and juiced for a refreshing tropical beverage.

Hope one of these is the vine in question.
