I planted tulip/crocus/hyacinths last year. The only thing that came up were little green leaves and the leaves to the tulip bulbs were brown and rotten like and pulled easily from the soil. The bulbs were new from a nursery when I planted them. Any suggestions? thanks

Based on your description I am not certain what happened however it is possible that they were planted in a spot that is not well drained, meaning a spot that is extra wet. This could have caused the bulbs to rot during the winter and caused the results you saw. Bulbs really need to be in a spot with full sun all day and well drained soil.
