| Grass will not grow well in shade, so you may want to consider a shade tolerant perennial ground cover such as hostas or ajuga, or perhaps the traditional evergreen Vinca minor (will not climb your tree or bushes) or English ivy (Hedera helix.) The last one must be prevented from climbing your woody plants. |
