Since we have many young children who play back there during recess, I don't want any of them to end up getting stung by bees. | Bees are attracted to many of our popular flowering plants including trees, shrubs, flowers, vegetables and weeds that are insect pollinated. Trying to use only wind pollinated plants in a flower garden would be disappointing because their flowers tend to be small and not showy. You could, for example, use just ornamental grasses.
