my home is on a hill and the front part of the yard is starting to landslide I don't have much grass there but I would like to make some kind of trim or something so the hill can stay a nice hill and not unlevel ground. What can I do?

Abbie,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

If I understand your question correctly I would suggest you try a row of ornamental clumping grasses such as one of the Miscanthus. They are great for slowing water runoff and preventing erosion.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
