hI.. I have those long leather gardening gloves used for prickly roses. However, the leather has gotten very hard and stiff and they are about impossible to use. Is there any way to soften up the leather so I dont have to throw them away? Thanks, Dorian |
There are two things you can try. First, try washing the gloves with a liquid soap for delicate items and then air drying them. They will feel stiff when you first put them on, but they will soften up as you wear them. If that doesn't work satisfactorily, you can use a water based leather conditioner (such as Nikwax Liquid Conditioner for suade), according to label directions. This should soften them up for you. Best wishes with your project! |
