Butterflies like flowers with lots of nectar. Plant Asters, Chrysanthemum, Coreopsis, Helianthus, Lavender, Sweet Alyssum, Monarda, Phlox, Rudbeckia, Verbena and Zinnias for all season color and fragrance. Hummingbirds prefer the color red, and flowers with a trumpet shape. Fuchsias, Coral Bells, Campsis, Lily and Knipbofia are perfect for attracting hummingbirds. All these plants do well in full sunshine.
