Has anyone come up with a safe way to eratacate these filthy little devels? |
Unfortunately there is still no true magic bullet. However, sprays containing neem seem to repel the adults and kill the larvae. (Apply every five to seven days after they hatch.) Hand picking the eggs and larvae can help, as can hand picking the beetles. Some gardeners seem to think disturbing the soil around the lilies in early spring (where they are overwintering) can help limit them somewhat as well. |
