The Q&A Archives: Grub killer

Question: what type of grub killer can i apply to my vegetable garden

Answer: Virgina,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

You generally don't need it in a vegetable garden. Grubs are everywehre but must be present in numbers of several per square foot before they do any real damage. I just pick them up when I turn the soil and destroy them and never have had enough to treat, not even close.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
