My ficus tree has black spots on them, My friends says to throw them away but the leaves are still there. I don't want to throw my ficus away. I did take a few off and they seem dried out. What do I do?

It's almost impossible to diagnose a plant problem without actually seeing it. I think the best way to figure out just what's going on with your ficus is to cut off a few of the affected leaves, place them in a plastic bag, and take them to the garden center. Someone there should be able to identify the problem and suggest some control measures.

Best wishes with your ficus!
