What can I do to ensure that the blooms will be red and not be pink?

This wonderful compact hydrangea will be deep dark blue in acidic soil and deep pink to red in neutral soil. You can ensure your hydrangea blooms a red color by adding super phosphate to the soil at two week intervals begining in the spring just as the plant is leafing out.
