I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

There is not treatment for such damage. You just have to provide good care (mowing, watering and fertilizing) in the meantime while it tries to recover and resume normal growth. If the damage is severe enough so as to kill areas you may want to plug some new grass in here and there to speed recovery of the turf areas.
