Geraniums are typically grown in sunny locations, so additional plants might include salvia, marigold, petunia, dusty miller, sweet alyssum, vebena or dwarf zinnias. Check the specific named variety of each type for the expected height, zinnias for example can range from about 8 inches to 36 inches depending on the variety.
