The Q&A Archives: Gerberer Daisy

Question: I cannot seem to keep the blooms going all summer. What am I doing wrong?? Should I cut the blooms off or let them die off??

Answer: You probably are not doing anything wrong. Once the weather turns hot they will stop blooming. You can try to extend the bloom period as long as possible by providing light shade for them in summer. Also, trimming off the faded blooms may help, it also makes the plants look better longer.
