Queen Palms - Knowledgebase Question

Our queen palms are not doing good at all.They are brown and dry by the time the new branch comes out... We water regularly. Any suggestions?

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

If it is not due to dry condition the most likely causes are soggy wet soil (poorly drained) or excessive fertilizer salts (not very likely). The rains you all have had this spring combined with an area that doesn't drain well can cause root loss and top burn symptoms.
