I have a very odd question.I planted a variety of different bulbs and colors last fall. Some daylillies and some lillium. They have started to bloom and guess what, all the daylillies are yellow and the lillium are all pink. I have asked the people here, who belong to the Master gardeners club, but have not gotten an answer. I certainly would like to know the answer to this puzzle.
Thanks,
Shirley Brown

Shirley,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

I'm not clear on the mystery. Daylilies are usually yellow or a similar hue and many of the Lily species are pink.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
