The Q&A Archives: Plants that shouldn't be planted together

Question: Where can I find a list showing which plants should not be planted together?

Answer: It's easier to explain which plants should be planted together: plants with the same cultural requirements can be planted near one another without problem. The rule is simple - don't plant sun lovers in the same bed as shade lovers; don't plant water hogs next to drought-tolerant plants. As long as the plants have the same care requirements, they'll be happy bed companions.
