when planting rose, ground covers, and grasses how long does it take for the plant to take root? |
Muriel, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! That varies between species and even between varieties sometimes. Some roses for example root in 2 weeks while others take a month or more. Conditions in the rooting chamber (moisture, temperature, etc.) and whether or not you use a rooting hormone also affect speed of rooting. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
