The Q&A Archives: dolomitic lime

Question: Where can I purchase dolomitic lime for my lawn. I do not find it in garden centers like HOme Depot.

Answer: Dolomitic lime might be preferred if your soil is particularly low in magnesium. I do not think magnesium deficiency is common in your area. Dolomite and calcite lime both correct pH adequately so you could use either one. (Your local county extension should be able to advise you in more detail.)
