You'll need two of these trees blooming at the same time for pollination to occur, and bees or wasps to move the pollen for you as well, plus a long season for the bananas to form. They are very small (maybe four inches) and inedible. The trees need to be fertilized heavily and need continued heat to maintain vigorous growth after bloom so they can form the fruit. It is possible your growing season is so short they are being moved indoors or beginning to slow by the time they are ready to set the fruit so the process is interrupted.
