The Q&A Archives: Tomatoes

Question: I have a grape tomatoe plant that I have set in a x large pot. Will the plant produce and be ok in a pot? Any thing extra that I need to do?

Answer: As long as the pot has adequate drainage holes and you give the plant full sunshine, it should produce well for you. Plants in containers can dry out quickly so be sure to check the soil moisture daily by sticking your finger in the soil. If it feels cool a half-inch beneath the surface, it's moist enough; if it feels dry, it's time to water thoroughly.

Hope you have a great harvest!
