| Ale, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! They have a spreading root system. I have pulled them out with a chain attached to a truck or car hitch and also dug them out with a grubbing hoe which is more work. Thanks for the question.
