How do you know when bulbs are bad? - Knowledgebase Question

I purchased some bulbs earlier this spring. I have never planted bulbs before. If I have not stored them the reccommended way, are they still salvagable? How do I know if they are no longer good?

To some extent this depends on what kind of bulbs you have, but in general they are still okay if they are not mushy or moldy and do not smell bad like they are rotting. I hope your bulbs are okay!
