The Q&A Archives: vegetation in back yard

Question: My back yard is full of vines, vegetation and dandellions. Do I spray the whole yard with week killer?

Answer: You can use a vegetation killer such as Round Up to get rid of all the growth in your backyard, then rake up the dead weeds and vines and the ground should be ready to plant. Be sure to read and apply according to label directions. There will be a waiting period after spraying before you can replant the area, but once the waiting period is over, you can safely plant ornamentals and lawn.

Best wishes with your yard!
