Leafy vegetables can be grown in partial shade but vegetables producing fruit must be grown in direct sunlight. Beets, carrots, cabbage, Swiss chard, kale, onions, and radishes will grow in part sun. For the other veggies, consider planting them in front of your shrubbery, or in your sunny flower beds; or grow them in containers.

Best wishes with your garden!
