I have a white willow tree in my front yard and it is showing signs of dying. It has very little new growth and the bark is separating from the trunk. Can I save my tree?

Intha,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

Those trees are problem prone and not usually long lived. I can't think of anything to do for it other than provide good care (moist soil and moderate fertilizing).

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
