| Golden Delicious is somewhat self fruitful, but it is recommended to have another apple cultivar available as a pollen source. This can be a nearby crabapple, wild apple or orchard type of apple. Keep in mind that if you live in a neighborhood with trees around you, you may not need to plant a second kind of apple -- there may be a suitable tree available nearby. |
