Hi,
I would like to know what tree needs more room for the roots to grow an Elberta Peach tree or a Persimon tree.
Thanks,
Eunice

Both the peach and the persimmon trees are about the same size at maturity (25' tall and wide), but the root system of the persimmon tree will be slightly smaller. If space is an issue, choose the persimmon, or purchase a semi-dwarf peach tree, which will grow only about 15' tall and wide, with a smaller root system than a regular sized persimmon tree.
