What is the smallest size container able to support a cabbage plant?

Cabbage are heavy feeders. The pot should be large enough to accommodate a rather extensive root system. For 1 cabbage plant, I would use an 8 to 10 inch pot. Be sure to feed and water well. I use a complete fertilizer such as Miracle Gro 20-20-20 at half strength to feed my container plants. I would fertilize cabbage every 2 weeks.

Remember that cabbage is a cool-weather crop.
